Partnerships & Joint Ownership
Be in on the action as an Owner. DBM has had great experience
and success over more than a decade in purchasing, organising
and administrating Joint Ownership ventures.
The aim is always to give Owners maximum enjoyment, both on
the gallops and the racecourse; coupled with minimising the
hassle by taking care professionally and efficiently of all
the bill paying and administration.
DBM offers three types of ownership:
Racing Partnership:
This consists of between 2 and 20 individuals, of whom at least
two must be or become registered owners.
Company ownership:
The horse is owned by the Company. The Company is the sole owner,
but provides participation to its shareholders. DBM would act
as a registered agent on its behalf.
Joint ownership:
This can involve between 2 and 12 individuals, all of whom
must be or become registered owners.
Leasing:
Leasing offers a form of racehorse ownership without the
capital cost of purchase. It can vary from owning a horse
for a single race up to it's entire career and may involve
one lessee or a group.
